The 8th Tournament of Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023 Has Been Held
The 8th tournament of the ranked doubles series “Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023” was held on July 30.
A total of 18 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, the Abbas Safarov / Zaur Bayramov pair defeated the Zaur Mammadov / Sarkhan Garayev duo 6-2 to claim the championship title.
The champion pair earned 70 ranking points each.
After the eighth tournament, Parviz Hasanli leads the ranking table with 290 points. Vusal Bagirov and Aziz Manafov share the second and third positions with 280 points each. Thanks to the 70 points earned in the latest tournament, Zaur Bayramov moved up to fourth place. Kirill Satyukov is currently fifth with 230 points.
It should be noted that at the end of October, the athletes finishing in the top five of the rankings will receive invitations to participate in an amateur tournament to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
