Tournament Dedicated to World Left-Handers Day Held
On August 13, the entertaining individual one-set “Mobitek Cup” tournament dedicated to World Left-Handers Day was held.
According to the special rules of the tournament, right-handed players competed only with their left hand, while left-handed players played only with their right hand. A total of 16 participants tested their non-dominant hand skills in both singles and doubles competitions.
In the singles final, Tamerlan Azizov, a multiple international tournament winner, defeated Samir Gafarov 6-3 to become the champion.
In the doubles competition, the Kamran Akhundov / Parviz Hasanli pair defeated Alina Gavrish / Farid Yariyev 6-4 to claim the title.
At the award ceremony, winners received trophies and gift vouchers from Mobitek.az, all participants received commemorative gifts, and coffee was provided by Barselona Import.
