The 4th Tournament of Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023 Has Been Held
The 4th tournament of the ranked doubles series “Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023” was held on July 2.
The final match, featuring 18 doubles teams, was remembered for an incredible comeback. The Zaur Mammadov / Ahmad Safiyev pair came back from 3-5, 0-40 down to defeat the Azer Safarov / Aziz Manafov duo 7:6 and claim the title.
With this victory, the champion pair earned 60 ranking points each.
After the fourth tournament, Farid Dadashov, Aziz Manafov and Parviz Hasanli are leading the rankings with 140 points each.
It should be noted that at the end of October, the top five players in the rankings will receive invitations to participate in an amateur tournament to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
