The 17th Tournament of Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023 Has Been Held
The 17th tournament of the ranked doubles series “Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023” was held on October 8.
A total of 15 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, the Farid Yariyev / Mary Rose Del Norte pair defeated the Yurii Kutlin / Aziz Manafov duo 7-6 to claim the championship title.
This victory marked the 4th championship title for Farid Yariyev and the first title for Mary Rose Del Norte.
The champion pair earned 70 ranking points each.
After the 17th tournament, the top five players in the ranking are:
- Aziz Manafov – 640 points
- Vusal Bagirov – 600 points
- Farid Yariyev – 600 points
- Zaur Bayramov – 580 points
- Parviz Hasanli – 550 points
It should be noted that at the end of October, the athletes finishing in the top five of the rankings will receive invitations to participate in an amateur tournament to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
