The 16th Tournament of Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023 Has Been Held
The 16th tournament of the ranked doubles series “Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023” was held on October 1.
A total of 15 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, the Sarkhan Garayev / Vusal Bagirov pair defeated the Kamran Akhundov / Azer Safarov duo 6-4 to claim the championship title.
The champion pair earned 70 ranking points each.
After the 16th tournament, the top five players in the ranking are:
- Aziz Manafov – 590 points
- Vusal Bagirov – 580 points
- Zaur Bayramov – 550 points
- Parviz Hasanli – 530 points
- Farid Yariyev – 530 points
It should be noted that at the end of October, the athletes finishing in the top five of the rankings will receive invitations to participate in an amateur tournament to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
