Tennis Star John Isner Announces Retirement
American tennis player John Isner has decided to retire from professional tennis.
The 38-year-old announced on social media that the 2023 US Open would be his final tournament.
During his career, Isner won 16 ATP Tour singles titles and became one of the most recognized servers in modern tennis history.
The American also holds the ATP record for the most career aces, with more than 14,000 aces throughout his professional career.
Isner reached a career-high ranking of World No. 8 in 2018 and reached the Wimbledon semifinals in the same season.
