Team World Wins Its First-Ever Laver Cup Title

Team World claimed its first-ever Laver Cup title by defeating Team Europe 13–8 in the 2022 edition of the tournament.

After trailing 8–4 entering the final day, Team World won all three decisive matches to complete a remarkable comeback.

Final day's results:

• Auger-Aliassime / Sock def. Berrettini / Murray 2–6, 6–3, 10–8

• Auger-Aliassime def. Djokovic 6–3, 7–6

• Tiafoe def. Tsitsipas 1–6, 7–6, 10–8

The winning team featured Félix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Diego Schwartzman, Alex de Minaur, Frances Tiafoe, and Jack Sock under captain John McEnroe.

Each member of Team World received $250,000 in prize money.
