Novak Djokovic Wins Olympic Gold
Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has won the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
In the men's singles final, Djokovic defeated Spain's Carlos Alcaraz 7-6, 7-6, winning both sets in tiebreaks to capture the first Olympic gold medal of his career.
Following Djokovic's historic triumph, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić congratulated him in a social media post.
It is worth noting that Djokovic became only the third tennis player over the age of 30 to reach an Olympic singles final, following Roger Federer and Serena Williams.
