New President Elected for the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation

On May 1, the general meeting of the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation Public Union was held.

During the meeting, elections were conducted to determine the federation’s new leadership.

According to the voting results, Anvar Anvarli was elected as the new President of the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation for a four-year term.

The following officials were also elected to leadership positions:

• Aliaga Fatullayev – First Vice-President
• Amal Alili and Orkhan Manafli – Vice-Presidents
• Ramiz Hamza-Zade, Laman Aliyeva, Elvin Masimov – Members of the Board

Elections were also held for the Audit and Inspection Commission. Fazli Azizov was elected Chairman, while Faiq Ismayilov and Azer Ismayilov became members of the commission.

It should be noted that Ogtay Asadov, who had led the federation for 22 years, did not put forward his candidacy for the presidency and stepped down from his position.
