Jannik Sinner Wins the Australian Open 2024 Men's Title
The Australian Open 2024 has come to an end with Jannik Sinner crowned men's singles champion.
In the final, the 22-year-old Italian produced a remarkable comeback to defeat Daniil Medvedev 3–6, 3–6, 6–4, 6–4, 6–3, claiming his first Grand Slam title.
The championship match lasted 3 hours and 44 minutes. After losing the opening two sets, Sinner turned the match around by winning the next three sets to secure the victory.
With this triumph, Sinner became the first Italian man to win the Australian Open singles title. He also became the first Italian man since 1976 to win a Grand Slam singles title and the youngest Australian Open men's champion since Novak Djokovic.
