Carlos Alcaraz Set to Make ATP Top 5 Debut After Hamburg

Carlos Alcaraz secured a place in the final of the Hamburg ATP 500 after defeating Slovakia's Alex Molcan 7–6 (7–2), 6–1 in the semifinals.

The victory guarantees the 19-year-old Spaniard his first-ever appearance in the ATP Top 5. Should he lift the title, Alcaraz is projected to climb to World No. 4, overtaking Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The win also extended Alcaraz's unbeaten record in ATP 500 events this season to 14 consecutive matches.

Awaiting him in the final is Italy's Lorenzo Musetti, who defeated Argentina's Francisco Cerúndolo to reach the first ATP Tour final of his career. Musetti is also expected to make his Top 50 debut in the ATP Rankings following his impressive run in Hamburg.

Already a champion at the Miami and Madrid Masters earlier this season, Alcaraz continues to establish himself as one of the brightest stars in men's tennis.
