Australian Open: Women's Finalists Confirmed

The finalists of the Australian Open 2023 women's singles tournament have been confirmed.

Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina advanced to the final after defeating Belarus' Victoria Azarenka 7–6(4), 6–3.

In the second semifinal, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka defeated Poland's Magda Linette 7–6(1), 6–2 to secure her place in the championship match.

As a result, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina will compete for the Australian Open title.

Both players have impressed throughout the tournament. Among the two finalists, only Rybakina has previously won a Grand Slam title, having lifted the 2022 Wimbledon trophy.

The final will be played on January 28 at 12:30 PM (Baku time).
