Australian Open: First Four Quarterfinalists Confirmed

The first four quarterfinalists in the men's singles draw at the Australian Open have been confirmed.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jiří Lehečka, Sebastian Korda, and Karen Khachanov advanced to the last eight.

Tsitsipas defeated Italy's Jannik Sinner 6–4, 6–4, 3–6, 4–6, 6–3, while Lehečka produced one of the biggest upsets of the tournament by beating Canada's Félix Auger-Aliassime 4–6, 6–3, 7–6(2), 7–6(3).

Sebastian Korda came through a thrilling five-set battle against Hubert Hurkacz, winning 3–6, 6–3, 6–3, 1–6, 7–6(7).

In the final match of the day, Karen Khachanov defeated Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka 6–0, 6–0, 7–6(4) to secure his place in the quarterfinals.

The remaining four quarterfinalists will be decided on the following day.
