American Ben Shelton advanced to the Australian Open quarterfinals after winning a thrilling five-set match against his fellow countryman.

The 20-year-old prevailed 6–7(5), 6–2, 6–7(4), 7–6(4), 6–2, continuing his impressive run in Melbourne. Thanks to his powerful game, Shelton has also earned the nickname "The Hulk."

The quarterfinals will feature another all-American clash, with Ben Shelton set to face Tommy Paul.
