Andy Murray Announces Retirement from Professional Tennis
Renowned Scottish tennis player Andy Murray has announced his retirement from professional tennis.
The 37-year-old made the decision following his final appearance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Reflecting on his career, Murray said:
"I'm proud of my career, my achievements, and everything I've contributed to the sport. I'm truly happy now."
Murray won three Grand Slam titles during his career. He also claimed Olympic gold medals in men's singles at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games, as well as a silver medal in mixed doubles at London 2012.
