7th Stage of the "Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2024" Held
The 7th stage of the "Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2024" ranked doubles tournament series was held on July 21.
A total of 18 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, Teymur Dadashov / Fuad Huseynov defeated Sevinc Novruzova / Vusal Baghirov 7-5 to win the championship title.
At the end of the tournament, the finalists and other participants received gift vouchers provided by Spektr, Fikus Baku, Cinnabon, and Mobitek.
With this victory, each member of the winning team earned 70 ranking points. As a result, Teymur Dadashov extended his lead at the top of the rankings with 340 points. His closest challengers, Sevinc Novruzova and Parviz Bananyarli, were tied on 270 points, while Fuad Huseynov returned to the top five with 240 points after a one-week absence.
It is worth noting that at the end of October, the top five players in the overall rankings will earn invitations to an international amateur tournament to be held in Batumi, Georgia.
