5th Stage of the "Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2024" Held
The 5th stage of the "Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2024" ranked doubles tournament series was held on July 7.
A total of 18 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, Teymur Dadashov / Tokay Farajov defeated Parviz Bananyarli / Scott Risner 6-3 to claim the championship title.
With this victory, each member of the winning team earned 70 ranking points. As a result, Teymur Dadashov increased his total to 260 points, overtaking Parviz Bananyarli (250 points), who had led the rankings for four consecutive weeks, and moved to the top of the standings.
It is worth noting that at the end of October, the top five players in the overall rankings will earn invitations to an international amateur tournament to be held in Batumi, Georgia.
