The 19th Tournament of Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023 Has Been Held
The 19th tournament of the ranked doubles series “Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023” was held on October 22.
A total of 18 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, the Ekaterina Sokolova / Liza Sokolova pair defeated the Kamran Akhundov / Aziz Manafov duo 6-1 to claim the championship title.
The champion pair earned 70 ranking points each.
After the 19th tournament, the top five players in the ranking are:
- Aziz Manafov – 700 points
- Vusal Bagirov – 680 points
- Zaur Bayramov – 670 points
- Farid Yariyev – 640 points
- Parviz Hasanli – 620 points
It should be noted that at the end of October, the athletes finishing in the top five of the rankings will receive invitations to participate in an amateur tournament to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
