The 18th Tournament of Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023 Has Been Held
The 18th tournament of the ranked doubles series “Gardashlar Mebel Doubles Championship 2023” was held on October 15.
A total of 15 doubles teams competed in the tournament. In the final, the Bahruz Rustamov / Zaur Bayramov pair defeated the Parviz Hasanli / Vusal Bagirov duo 7-5 to claim the championship title.
This victory marked the 4th championship title for Zaur Bayramov and the first title for Bahruz Rustamov.
The champion pair earned 70 ranking points each.
After the 18th tournament, the top five players in the ranking are:
- Aziz Manafov – 650 points
- Vusal Bagirov – 650 points
- Zaur Bayramov – 650 points
- Farid Yariyev – 620 points
- Parviz Hasanli – 600 points
It should be noted that at the end of October, the athletes finishing in the top five of the rankings will receive invitations to participate in an amateur tournament to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
