Iga Świątek Wins Back-to-Back Roland Garros Titles
Poland's Iga Świątek defeated Czech player Karolína Muchová in the final of the French Open (Roland Garros) to claim the championship.
The final, held in Paris, ended with a 6–2, 5–7, 6–4 victory for the world No. 1.
With this triumph, Świątek secured her second consecutive Roland Garros title and her third overall, having previously won the tournament in 2020 and 2022.
The victory also marked the fourth Grand Slam singles title of her career. In addition to her three French Open crowns, Świątek won the 2022 US Open.
