Djokovic Sets New Grand Slam Record

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has set a new record for the number of five-set matches played at Grand Slam tournaments.

The record was achieved during his Wimbledon quarter-final match against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.

This was Djokovic’s 50th Grand Slam match in which the winner was decided in the fifth set. With this achievement, the Serbian player surpassed Stan Wawrinka and became the sole record holder in this category.
