Idris Namazov Wins Third Straight League Title
The 62nd League, held during February–March 2026, was marked by intense competition, high-level matches, and a fast-paced style of play. One of the tournament’s main favorites, Idris Namazov, once again proved his status by becoming League champion for the third consecutive time.
Throughout the season, Namazov stood out with his consistency and composure in crucial moments. Competing against the strongest players of Group 1, he controlled the tempo in most matches and avoided major setbacks on his way to the title.
One of the highlights of the season was the series of matches between the league leaders.
